Atoms-World for iOS — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Atoms-World is published by Alexandre Tkatchenko, 8 Rue Jean Fries, 3321 Berchem, Luxembourg (the "Licensor", "we") and developed by Igor Poltavskyi, Sergio Suárez-Dou, Miguel Gallegos Gonzalez and Alexandre Tkatchenko as a private, independent project. This policy explains what the App does with information on your device.

In short

The App collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash-reporting tools of its own. Every simulation runs on your device. Nothing you do in the App is sent to us or to anyone else.

Device permissions

The App asks for one device permission:

Sound heard through the microphone is analysed on your device in real time to drive the molecule's motion, and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can refuse or withdraw this permission at any time in your device settings.

Stored on your device

The App keeps your settings (language, game options, a YouTube link you entered) on your device only. Deleting the App deletes them.

YouTube

If you paste a YouTube link in Sounds of Nature, the video plays in YouTube's own embedded player and is streamed from Google's servers. Google may then process data under its own terms and privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We receive nothing from it. If you never use this option, the App makes no network connection.

Information from Apple

If you have chosen in your device settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with crash reports and usage statistics about the App. Apple handles this under its own privacy policy, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings.

Emails you send us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use them only to reply to you, based on our legitimate interest in answering your request (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and we keep them only as long as needed for that.

The About screens contain links (the SO3LR article and code). They open in your browser; the websites' own privacy policies apply.

Children

The App is suitable for use in education. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Apart from emails you send us, we hold no personal data about you. If you have written to us, you can ask us to access, correct or delete that correspondence. You also have your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and may lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg data-protection authority (Commission nationale pour la protection des données, https://cnpd.public.lu).

Changes and contact

We will publish any change to this policy in the App and at https://atoms-world.online/privacy. Questions: contact@atoms-world.online.
